Pros
Great technology with an amazing culture. I've been in the industry for around 20 years and worked in small, mid sized and large companies. Having been at MongoDB now for 2 years I can see how this place is truly special. There is a strive for excellence in all aspects of the work and you are given the freedom and support to reach your true potential. I am still amazed at how much I am learning on so many levels and using my knowledge to help customers really get the most from the technology.
Cons
If you want an easy ride where you can hide and get away with the bare minimum then this really isn't the place for you. You may find the interview process long and challenging but the bar is set high for a good reason. The work can also be demanding but the rewards are great.
