      Pros

      Great team, really collaborative, lots of smart people. Product really works. Comp package is pretty competitive. Full of great challenges. Opportunity to make a difference is enormous.

      Cons

      Company facing a lot of fairly standard growth challenges. Moving from 150 to 300 people is a big change for any organisation. There have been a few mis teps but I think the intellectual firepower available to us is more than equal to the measure of those challenges.

      Pros

      Awesome team of intelligent and innovative individuals. Great opportunity to make a huge impact on the industry. One of the few startups that are doing well which will get you a lot of recognition. Good work/life balance with a lot of flexibility and autonomy.

      Cons

      MongoDB is experiencing some growing pains right now with a lot of bureaucratic policies being put in place partially due to new execs. It's normal to have more structure as the team gets bigger but the way in which it is implemented could be handled a bit better. Fast pace growth but sometimes culture fit is sacrificed in the process. Healthy compensation packages for newcomers but, no incentives are given to existing employees who have been with the company. New managers also needs more training.

      Growing really fast - Lots of opportunity Changing the industry Customers love doing business with MongoDB - very customer centric The culture is great, Particularly in EMEA Leaders who listen and mentor

      Cons

      Compensation plans are maybe not as aggressive as they should be for such a fast growing company Sometimes we take being customer centric to extremes and make it a little too difficult to sell by giving almost everything ways for free
