Fun environment

Pros

They really try to create a fun environment and a bond between all the store workers by organizing company paid dinners and outings. You also get a 25% discount in all h&m group stores.

Cons

It was a pretty repetitive job. A lot of greenwashing in the "sustainable" line

Great Team, Poor Pay

Recommend
CEO approval
Business Outlook

Pros

Great team, informal culture, progression based on merit, effort gets recognised, safe working conditions, staff discount to all other H&M brands. Definitely the best or least-worse UK high street fashion brand to work for.

Cons

Poor compensation and benefits, poor work-life balance, dated technology and/or operations, policy to understaff so staff are constantly stretched, lack of transparency in organisation, can't keep up with competitors
