      Great Company - Lots of Opportunity For Growth!

      Pros

      You learn a lot and gain access to great companies when embedded. If you don't like your team, there is flexibility to transition to a different team or sister company.

      Cons

      Leadership was a bit disjointed, but willing to course-correct and address issues. You may be embedded within a company (essentially becoming that company's employee), but receive none of their benefits or high salary. Ex: You'll make $80-90K as an embedded employee, while your counterparts on the client side (performing similar tasks) are making $100k+ with access to all company bonuses and benefits. You'll have a non-compete, so you may not be able to work for the company you're embedded in after leaving Media.Monks.

      Pros

      great people, incredible talents (mostly), dynamic and truly global team. great benefits. wide range of work to build on. a lot of different skills to learn across departments and teams. every project experience is unique and different.

      Cons

      bottleneck of mid-high level mgmt, company values are not aligned, high focus on profitability, extreme lack of awareness wrt each role's needs and values. the non-management roles pay the consequences for every company decision being made, with not very much support being given to the ones who hold the work together. you will likely have to do what they want you to do, and not what is right by your job.

      As is agency life, work can feel very rushed and low quality due to overpromising by executive level.
