Rapidly getting worse

Pros

You can get a lot of responsibility and can learn fast. This because teams are severely understaffed. Big clients, (too) ambitious projects.

Cons

Acquisitions keep on coming, company is getting more and more chaotic and understaffed. Low pay, empty promises regarding more openings, reviews, raises, prospects in general. Work overload. Junior employees work weekends and late nights (nights, not evenings) regularly. Employees that go out of the way to get things done are not recognized for it, and if they are they are they get nothing in return. Talent is leaving. Quality is going down, as there is too much to do while there are not enough resources made available to the teams. People are stressed out if not burned out already. Higher ups can be disrespectful and even abusive. Culture of not speaking up nor correcting anyone that does wrong.

Pros

So much respect for this company! A great place to get your start in digital marketing. Unlimited PTO, Remote flexible, full health+dental+vision coverage, comprehensive training program, you really learn everything there is to know about paid search & are trained to feel confident while speaking on client calls, supportive management, quarterly bonuses, mid-high salaries, uses Slack & Google Calendar instead of Outlook. Also, I put in my 2 weeks a month before quarterly bonuses were delivered, so I wasn’t expecting to receive mine, but MT expedited my bonus without me asking & I received it with my last pay check. I really appreciated that!

Cons

Client load/work can be very stressful, especially the few months following the analyst to Account Manager promotion. Hours vary based on the week’s work load. Some days you’ll only track 5 hours/day, while the next week could get up to 11. Expectations from management are very high, but they’re very supportive and will work hard to help you meet them
