Pros
Montclair State University provides a highly supportive environment for graduate students working part-time. I’ve had the chance to grow academically and professionally through engaging work, collaborative staff, and accessible faculty. The flexible hours are ideal for balancing coursework, and the work culture is inclusive and respectful. I’ve also enjoyed using university resources that have helped me develop both soft and technical skills.
Cons
Like most part-time roles, compensation is limited, and some administrative processes can be slow. However, the experience and supportive environment far outweigh these minor drawbacks.
