Pros

Decent people. Multiple locations. Not Many...

Cons

The Company itself from the various owner groups at each store. Mr Thompson and his corporate henchmen only care about themselves so in turn hire lower level management that is the same. Very high turnover (even for a dealer) , which leads to poor cust service and less repeat business. Lack of transparency in sales, service, office adds to overall mistrust. Common to hire 3-5 young sales people that can’t make any income. This group will work 2-3 months and then quit. Rinse and repeat.

Pros

None well not being there anymore. I suppose you could say a positive could be if someone is interested in working in automotive service or sales that someone could get their feet wet here. Then when they decide to work for a real dealership they will feel like they have it made.

Cons

Horrible management. The place is a stepping stone for someone in the automotive industry to get their feet wet. In my short time there they had 5 general managers. Each one comes in hoping to change staff make an impact none are able to accomplish this task. It’s a poor location with a terrible local reputation. As an employee your tempted to shop elsewhere. All car dealerships have downside of the 4 I have been with in my 15 plus years this one is the worst no questions asked. Most common customer complaint I heard was every time I come in I see new faces. Take that advice before you consider working there.

Being a family-owned business is NOT a plus in this instance.

Pros

There are some really great co-workers - we have a "we're all in this together" mentality. It's not a good place to work, but having nice people to work with makes it easier.

Cons

Pay is terrible, unless you're a salesperson, but the CEO likes us to cheer when he shares with us how well the company is doing, forgetting that our pay has been frozen for years (since the recession) because the company was "going through tough times." If you don't actually sell the car or aftermarket accessory, you're just a necessary expense. Family-owned business. Loser kids involved. Recipe for disaster.
