Pros

Other than access to free cookies, coffee, soda and water; there is no viable reason or benefit to work (or sell cars) for this particular division of Montrose Auto Group. At no fault of the recently hired General Manager, the overall assessement of the work enviornment is best identified as toxic.

Cons

Poor immediate management; however, made worse by obvious bias toward (and against) certain employees. Further cons include poor leadership. Moreover, management is inclined to cheat and find other means to mitigate earnings and commission. Comparatively speaking, the service and enviornment is best described as "ghetto".

Being a family-owned business is NOT a plus in this instance.

Pros

There are some really great co-workers - we have a "we're all in this together" mentality. It's not a good place to work, but having nice people to work with makes it easier.

Cons

Pay is terrible, unless you're a salesperson, but the CEO likes us to cheer when he shares with us how well the company is doing, forgetting that our pay has been frozen for years (since the recession) because the company was "going through tough times." If you don't actually sell the car or aftermarket accessory, you're just a necessary expense. Family-owned business. Loser kids involved. Recipe for disaster.
