Pros
Top tier professionals in many areas of legal specialization. Solid financial management. Diverse and interesting practice with many S&P 100 financial and non-financial clients. Excellent investment funds practice. Most partners are positive and helpful when called upon.
Cons
Fairly bureaucratic with many detailed personnel policies (consistent with its strong practice group in the area). Not so much a place for independently minded or "conservative," traditional lawyers. Not a "partner democracy" type of firm. Operated very much as a corporation with various "glass ceilings'. Practice group P&Ls prevail over office centric P&Ls (at least on the surface). More "domestic" that "international" focused.
