      Great technology infrastructure, smart people, not too close to the 'business'

      Pros

      - MS has got a great and consistent technology infrastructure. As an example it is very common that a new joiner gets access to all systems and is able to be productive on the first day - It varies from team to team but there are many smart people, including managers. The grad programme is very good. I haven't done it myself but I've worked with many grads and it's generally a very good experience.

      Cons

      - In my team I didn't have much exposure to the 'business' - we didn't sit with the traders, we had separate social events and I really could feel like I was an inferior employee, physically separated from the 'important' guys
