Pros

Ability to gain FINRA licenses (7, 66, 3, 9, 10, 4, 24 and 53). Good work life balance. 20 vacation days. 7 sick days. Non-micromanagement environment.

Cons

0 bonuses. 0 recognition. Low moral amongst department. New hires are brought in at higher salaries for the same job function. Mid Level management not powered to discipline under performing employees. Mid Level management unable to reward over performing employees. Lack of communication from management in regards to policy or procedure updates. Promotions that come with no pay increases. Departments don't respect each other. If you apply internally for another department, you might as well be applying at a different firm. Management disconnected from employees and no career development opportunities.

Pros

Cutting edge technology and adequate medical plan

Cons

Upper level management use the field reps and lower level management positions as fodder for their own gain. Bonuses paid out to upper level management were denied to lower level management under the guise of austerity measures. They do not treat employees fairly and will use you as much as they can.
