Hard to move things fast sometimes

Manager, senior associate and associate who have been here for more than five years are working like they operating in the core department but they are not (it is a GC in Mumbai). Feedback is given for more 60 mins for even a small mistake (whereas the firm is ok with mistakes it is just indians who are stretching it unnecessarily) and contigents are belittled to an extent till their ego is satisfied. If you think to join then you will be treated as a slave not an employee. There is one day work from home available but if someone takes an extra day then a meeting is scheduled to understand why it was taken (such a narrow mindset). Growth is very slow.
