Pros
Excellent company name, competitive pay, great coworker and easy location for commuting.
Cons
One thing that disturbs me about this firm which is the lack of diversity in the front office. I have worked front office at other major investment banks and you can literally count the number on one hand in the NYC office. It certainly is not an issue of not having qualified candidates because I have been part of many interviews with perspective employees. Morgan Stanley has a very extensive hiring process in which you will meet with a minimum of 10 people. I was actually shocked when certain people would be hired over others based on minor facts around how certain questions were answered vs the candidates proven track record of excellence.
