Pros
You work with smart, motivated people. You are involved with the heartbeat of Wall Street It is a very unique environment. Senior management tries very hard to communicate initiatives.
Cons
HUGE egos. If you are staff, you will almost never move into management. The company likes to pull from outside the firm, at least in the Atlanta area. There is not nearly enough training of operations people. You are thrown into the job. Plenty of people will help, but expect a sink or swim environment.
