Pros

Good business and development teams. Teams vary so get feedback from previous employees than existing employees. Check turnover of the team. Business understanding and willing to help IT people in understanding any business terms if needed.

Cons

no clear guidelines. any things discussed at the interview level ensure its in writing. Hr is not as supportive as compared to other banks.

Pros

The company has one of the best, if not the best technology training program on Wall St. If you get in, they're basically paying you to take classes for 3.5 months. Everyone I met was extremely smart and motivated.

Cons

Work is demanding and challenging but I always felt supported by my team. Will occasionally work long hours to complete projects.

Great IT infrastructure, lots of developer tools available, telecommuting available part-time. Lots of "building blocks" available for development of distributed applications.

Cons

Disconnect between senior IT management and BU customers, not obvious who do you "work for" as opposed to who decides your comp...
