Morgan Stanley is so unorganized. It takes weeks to get the simplest answers. If there is something that could be an issue but anyone below VP brings it up, no one cares. When it finally comes to fruition, the same employees who called out the possible problem are forced into fire drills to fix it and any other issues that came with it. Another nightmare of MS is the return to office. We're told it's to get back to working together and socializing, but everyone on my team is in other locations, so my drive to the office is to still work virtually. It makes zero sense. Employees were told not to expect much with bonuses or raises for 2024, but then Ted and two other men who interviewed for the CEO role got 20 million dollar bonuses for interviewing. At the same time they cut budget for any employee recognition events.

Horrifying workplace. More sexist culture than Taliban. The firm is unique in the sense that its Chief Diversity officer sued for discrimination. Its 100% true. Women are oppressed, get lower salary, and get stalked, harassed. Sexual harassment is considered normal practice. Morgan Stanley has a long history of sexual harassment and discrimination settlements and never changes 70MM USD, 40MM USD and others. The only thing that works is their PR, which is practically hiding how toxic the firm is. You'd be wasting your life if you work here. Go work for any other company but this toxic firm.
