Pros
Pace is slow and office is usually quiet. You get to spend all day at a desk at a university. Benefits are great.
Cons
You have to sit all day at a desk, pace is slow. Pay is extremely low. Little or no opportunities for growth. Most positions are contractual and paid time off stinks. Contract renews annually on July 1, but you can't accrue enough hours between July and December to cover unpaid days during winter break when the university is closed.
