      benefits workload (generally low) immediate colleagues salary (industry standard) Capabiliy of recent hires at mid to junior levels in NY, Chicago and UK

      Cons

      CEO is lacking in vision, strategic judgement and interpersonal skills Performance issues are not tackled Culture of engrained nepotism management capability is very low Power and autonomy sits in he hands of an ineffective few general calibre of corporate staff, especially in HQ, is exceptionally low structures are developed around personalities instead of business needs Nothing changes - all talk and no action Loyalty rewarded over capability famliy owned legacy so lots of leeches still hanging on Governance structures are weak, ineffective and staffed by people with conflicting interests

      - Good opportunity if it is your first work experience or especially if it is your last - Good work/life balance

      Cons

      - Politics, politics, politics and then...politics - Too many people see this as their last job before retirement, which is reflected in the average age of employees and the atmosphere (stuffy and bureaucratic) - Considering the points above growth opportunities are very limited
