A Pleasant Place to Work

Pros

Overall, my coworkers are friendly and polite, people communicate well, and there is rarely a manufactured sense of urgency designed to simply keep everyone on edge, so it's not a really a stressful environment; you generally can just keep your head down and get your work done.

Cons

The medical benefits are expensive and just so-so, the vacation and PTO are lumped together and start at merely 2 weeks for the first year of employment (the 3 weeks, then 4 weeks eventually) , and the pay is slightly below average for the market

Pros

I am not micro-managed , my supervisor is fair, supportive and gives me responsibilities that challenge me. It is believed I can handle them (even when I'm unsure I can!). My pay is very good. I don't know if I'd get a higher salary if I left for another firm, but I'm not interested in doing so. I have never had a job where I felt so supported, learned so much and felt like what I did made a an impact.

Cons

Some departments work more OT than others (at least salaried people get paid OT here unlike at Bohler). Some departments are pretty high pressure because of the deadlines. management doesn't like to tell the clients no
