Great benefits, set schedule, decent pay, offers continuing education. You might qualify for getting a speciality certification paid for.

Cons

Culture depends on what hospital system you work with. Your scope of practice can vary greatly depending on the facility and hospital system. Not much room to advance unless you desire to be a food service director or clinical nutrition manager - if that’s your goal it’s a great option.
