Cons

Overworked, under paid, no support from HR or Senior Leadership. Was being Harassed by former colleagues had proof and nothing was done until I’ve ultimately resigned.

Free Drinks Every Shift, Guaranteed hours, $15/hr, Near Downtown.

Cons

Managers don't care about you. Reports to HR go into the trash. Customers are extremely rude due to stress. (Doctors, nurses, patients, visitors, etc. Hospital location) Extremely rude Supervisor, to employees AND customers. Place is filthy and has roaches. Employees wont clean because everyone expects others to do it. Its always someone else's job because "we have no time. We are busy." Failed Health inspections numerous times. Free coffee but no one drinks it because we know how filthy the machines and equipment are. The shop is only closed for 3 hours a day. PERIOD. Regardless of staffing or emergencies- Managers will explode if shop is closed for any reason. Supervisors have to cover ALL call outs and that makes them irritable. Anyone who is step above you will lecture you, snap at you, and make your life miserable. Most of which have no idea how the coffee shop is ran.

Once you learn the position, work time can be designated as you see fit, as long as you see all appointments during the times set in place and do your job well! Lots of extra food as well. If you love to fit in, the work culture is fine. Great look on the resume.

Cons

Low pay for qualifications. Work culture is toxic--especially depending on your personality. If you have a unique personality and style, this place is suffocating
