- Great salary and benefits - Awesome people and fun events regularly - Great place to come right out of college - Long work weeks are compensated with generous vacation time

Cons

- Work-life balance is a struggle; you must work on this at an individual level for many years - Middle management isn't always the most capable; promoting before ready for the advancement - Expect many long work weeks throughout a project

Pros

Lots of opportunity in the energy groups; great benefits and compensation; family values; if you are a good employee and demonstrate Mortenson values they will take care of you!!

Cons

With rapid growth come some growing pains. Your individual experience at Mortenson can depend heavily on your immediate supervisor, most are are great, others could work on their leadership skills. My advice to new hires push through the first supervisor if it's not great, most are really great, and want you to be successful.

Get to travel and take on a lot of responsibility and learn from a top GC in the US and the best in solar, lots of unity amongst project teams, plenty of time offered if you can take it

Cons

Living extended periods from home on taxing hours, management promotes for time served versus skill shown, inflexible chain of command
