Great work environment, takes employees cares, concerns and safety top priority.

Cons

Not enough pay. Traveling yearly for work takes a lot of commitment and employees aren't rewarded enough.

Pay and benefits are good.

Cons

You are expected to devote your life to the project. Expect to work weekends and holidays, because on Mortenson projects a supervisor always has to be present on site if there is work, and there will always be work on holidays. Mortenson gives a lot of PTO to its employees. But you will be ostracized and held back from promotions if you use even half of your PTO. Most people don't use hardly any of their PTO, and then wear it as a badge of honor when they lose PTO.
