Pros

401k , short term, long term, health and dental care, sick time, bad weather time, vacation time, and these are just some of the benefits that Morton building provides. This is a true full time construction company, in that you get to work year round, not just 8 months out of the years. Safety is a big part of morton, they want you to go home to your family at the end of the day.

Cons

It is hard work at times.

Pros

Stable employer. Progressive upper management who's working hard to adapt to an ever changing market. Employee owned. Honest, hard working fellow employees. Get to meet great customers and sub contractors through this company. Lastly we really do built a wonderful product that I'm always proud of.

Cons

Sometimes we're micro-managed although that seems to be getting better.

Great benefits, bad weather pay , 401k match, bonus for finishing jobs early, supply all the tools you need to build a building, commute in a crew cab to work, you are taught many skills that are rewarding , when you see what your hard work accomplished is very gratifying

It's hard work, some days are better than others
