Pros

Usually your work was pre-determined and the pay was not bad for the work performed. Most of the Supervisors were skilled enough with the work assigned and tried to listen to ideas of the workers when possible.

Cons

Parts were not always on hand when needed, and if parts did show up at the end of a shift you would be forced to stay over an extra shift with no advanced notice; and they never cared what plans you had made for after work. The workers that did most of the work got most of the work dumped on them regularly. The regular union workers were expected to uphold all the worker union agreements, but none of the workers ever got a fair shake from management after grievance was filed.

Pros

The pay is decent as well as company benefits. Another plus is that they are finally starting the process of modernizing their technology.

Cons

Does not appear to be a company that offers advancement - many employees in same career for years, lack of training or quality training. People seem bored with their jobs and in my former role, it was not challenging at all.
