Lots of changes. Poor communication. A lot of mismatch between skill and position. No loyalty to employee. Losing a lot of experience because of high turnover.

Production environment where you are constantly learning as an engineer. Opportunity to work on equipment dating back many years up through the latest and greatest robots. Always a challenge. Most employees stay a very long time.

Cons

Productions environments are usually dusty, corrosive. Aging work force. A lot of long hours.
