Pros
Motion is an excellent company that has allowed for an excellent work life balance. As we progress in this era of continued rapid technological advancement, Motion too must evolve. We are doing so, but definitely slower than I would prefer. However, leadership is interested in proper change to grow and continue making Motion instrumental in our customers success. Overall, Motion provides me an excellent career with growth opportunities and an environment that is entrepreneurial. Motivated self-starters are the ones who perform best at Motion. I am very pleased with the opportunities Motion has allowed me to pursue. Motion allows you to truly own your career! Oh, and pay is solid..they compensate at upper end of market.
Cons
There is one executive leader that has many question marks, and seems to make change without thinking strategically. Now that, that concerns me. However, I will stay focused where I can focus. The technology is outdated but we are slowly evolving to move things to more modern tech. The training is pretty poor as you are starting, but this seems to be a trend at many places. In my opinion, all new employees working at Corporate should be required to do a day long Branch and DC tour. It’s a shame that is not provided.
