Pros
A high but not crazy payscale for software developers in Birmingham. 5% 401k match which is very welcome but nothing crazy. 6 weeks of paternity or maternity leave, and 5 weeks of vacation starting off, which is quite impressive. Performance oriented culture, with fairly humble leadership through most of the company.
Cons
Upper leadership in IT is very, very scattered. They can't do any individual thing to support the team, which means balls get dropped by them routinely. A lot of Offshoring recently, so potentially not very stable over the long run.
