Pros

Strong interpersonal relationships with coworkers, locations all over the country

Cons

Motion expects you to put them first. There is no work/life balance at all. The only way to move up in the company is to completely abandon everything except Motion Industries. Sales reps are treated like kings- they make the most money and put in the least amount of effort and are basically allowed to do whatever they want. If you can join the company as a sales rep, it’s probably worth it. Operations Managers are the dumping ground. Any time corporate decides to place more responsibility on the branches, the operations manager just has more tasks added to their plate. This happens weekly. There is very little support or training for anything other than sales. The bonus structure changes yearly. No formal announcement was made to the branches on how the bonus structure for 2020 would work, so we’ve all been flying blind. It’s difficult to work for an objective if you don’t know what it is.
