The supervisor lacked emotional intelligence and showed aggressive micro-management tactics. The manager played favorites but always showed professionalism when his boss was in sight. There was a lack of progress within the department. The SOP was to review a PowerPoint presentation on outdated instructions to learn how to do daily tasks. If you asked the supervisor for help, they would tell you it was in the PowerPoint and rarely would give you sound advice. When expressing concern to the manager about this, nothing was done about the SOP of learning a task. There was a lack of engagement with the manager and the team as a whole. Many recommendations were brought to the managers and nothing was ever executed or reviewed at the department level.
