      Pros

      Motorola was a great company when I first started. Deep seeded systems and processes. Good training if you had the right mentors. Many good people.

      Cons

      Motorola was a great company... 16 years ago. The pressures of the tech bubble and competition has forced it to react. When it does react, it walks away from the great vision of its founding family. This is no specific hit to Motorola because any tech hardware company has faced the same pressures.

      Meaningful work supporting First Responder's radio system.

      Cons

      Benefits constantly decreasing. Lack of direction for the future of the company. Upper management is focused on their own wallet rather than the health of the company. Building is falling apart. Constantly outsourcing more and more development overseas.
