      Dreadful company. A sluggish behemoth, reluctant to change, (public sector-esque). Inefficient and overrated.

      Pros

      Offices world wide. Some of the most interesting projects are awarded to Motts. Little expectations from the company. Almost impossible to get fired.

      Cons

      Little or no innovation. Company values are just a tag line. Career prospects limited unless you are hired at grade E or above. Basic no frills remuneration. Non transparent promotion and career progression policy. Rewarded for years served rather than ability or talent.

      Pros

      Very very limited the only one is , in some divisions, flexibility of work between office and home. No advantages for being a medium engineering and consulting firm.

      Cons

      Merit and true performers not rewarded in an environment that it is too much political and hierarchical. Non performers can hide for too long. It is several businesses whose sum value is not more than the sum of the parts.

      Pros

      If you are lazy, not the highly intelligent ones in work but good in playing politic, and want an easy life... then this is the place you can stay forever because they pay you to be at that level. It is a good place to stay for young engineers and be there for 2 to 3 years top.

      Cons

      If you can't get into the inner circle of the company, that it, you're out forever and don't ever think that you will get appreciated enough and grow within. It is a very quiet working environment, quieter than a school library that staffs are too afraid to talk and one team hardly talks to another team sitting at the same floor.
