Pros

Timely pay Strategic location as it's right next to Trinity metro station Teammates are knowledgeable HR is friendly Benefits are very good

Cons

Growth - some middle managers are unaware of what exactly is going on within their team and rely totally on a couple of seniors for information about everyone else. These seniors manipulate and feed all kinds of gossip about everyone and creates a political environment where only these seniors and teammates they favour recieve promotion, to the point where managers are not even aware of what areas their subordinates have worked on and using what technology(!!!!) This hampers the promotion and growth aspects of others who aren't as close as these seniors with the manager. Junior position employees are most affected by this manipulation as they don't have that rapport with management as seniors. Director - She has created an environment of control and fear which has made the situation extremely toxic and worst!! Even for a few days of leave, we require her permission. Seriously? We need to ask her permission in order to enjoy our leaves which we have earned by working even when our team doesn't have a problem?? Micromanagement is an understatement, she has created an environment of literal microscopic management. Mouser Electronics was a fun workplace, now when it's Monday, people are frustrated to come to office. On the day when people got laid off, she was smiling and laughing in a meeting when everyone else was extremely tense about their job security. Not a single person under this director believes there won't be another layoff as everyone is still afraid of when the next wave is going to happen.
