Pros

There are none that I can think of. Other than the shirts that you pay for & get to wear.

Cons

You have to stand your whole shift. Not for me as they love to micro manage. Bonuses suck as we were told during training that bonuses are $15.00, not worth my time. Medical insurance is not good. They are always hiring because they have a big turnover rate. Employees there are very unhappy & they do not hesitate to let you know.

Nice work/life balance

Pros

Work life balance is great. Salaried employees are generally not expected to work over 40 hours, except perhaps in crunch times. Management tends to be pretty understanding, and tries to put people in a position to succeed. Room to grow if you are motivated. It is not unusual to see office staff who started pulling orders in the warehouse. It will not just be handed to you, however. Has a pretty healthy bottom line, and company growth is outpacing its industry.

Cons

Poor compensation. It is generally accepted that they do not pay anyone enough. Insurance benefits are terrible. Dealing with HR is very corporate and rigid.

OK, if you need income fast

Pros

Berkshire Hathaway Co. Stable. Lots of overtime. Possible work 6 days a week.

Cons

High turnover, too many meetings of the same things. Unfair with promotions - too much favoritism. It all depends on who you know - if friends with higher management the better opportunities you have to get better pay and move up.
