Pros
I am coming up on my second anniversary with Mouser and am so glad I joined the company. I did not know what to expect after reading some of the posts on Glassdoor, but it seems like many of the negative reviews on this site come from hourly positions in the warehouse and have not been a reflection of my experience. So if you are joining Mouser in a front-office position this review is for you. I found both my employees and colleagues in other departments to be hard-working, competent, and focused on the growth and success of the company. There is a good balance between long-time, employees and new faces and I think Mouser walks the line well between how things have been done in the past (that has grown the company exponentially) and new initiatives. Mouser has grown very quickly of late and last year reached over $2 billion in sales. There is still a good work-life balance, friendly and open management, and teams that want to see other succeed. If you are looking to join a growing company that has a stable, family feel Mouser would be a good fit. The company spends money both on employee initiatives and new technology. My employees have been very appreciative of all of the things Mouser has done to keep people safe and working during the pandemic
Cons
I have not experienced anything major that I have disliked. Mouser is a conservative company that has traditionally been very successful and will want you to learn the Mouser way first before throwing new initiatives out, which I think is fair. As evidenced by some of the negative reviews, there is quite a bit of turnover in the warehouse. Reading between the lines, it sounds like many of the issues stem from the employees (tardiness, etc.), but highlights an opportunity for improvement at the company.
