Pros

If you're looking for a company where your work genuinely matters, Movable Ink (MI) is it. As a unicorn-status MarTech leader ($1.3B valuation) with the backing of a major private equity firm (STG), the company is in a strong, stable financial position — a refreshing reality in today's tech landscape. The client list is a who's-who of iconic brands: Delta Air Lines, American Express, Adidas, Morgan Stanley, Samsung, SiriusXM, Royal Caribbean, Virgin Atlantic, and 500+ more. These aren't just logos on a slide...they're raving fans. Having great customers that are happy is important. The culture here lives up to its core values: Curiosity, Empathy, and Grit. MI has won "100 Best U.S. Midsize Companies to Work For" recognition and multiple "Best Places to Work" awards across NYC, SF, Boston, and Chicago. A big part of this is due to the flexible work-from-home policy, but the in-person events are still a key part of what makes MI a great place work.

Cons

* The pace here is fast. If you don't thrive in a high-energy environment, this might be a con for you. It's worth knowing this isn't a coast-and-collect-a-paycheck kind of place. * The company is evolving quickly. New products, new capabilities, new go-to-market motions. You need to be comfortable with change and willing to adapt on the fly (again, maybe not for everyone).

Pros

Remote work. Some good people. New office.

Cons

The company does not align with the image it portrayed during the interview process. While managers emphasize the importance of teamwork, employees often feel inadequate or like a burden when seeking clarification. There is an expectation to resolve issues without proper documentation, which is either outdated or completely absent. The role is not at all what was advertised. You are expected to take on additional tasks to help others earn their bonuses, yet there are no monetary incentives or rewards for your extra efforts. The salary is low, and the lack of financial recognition makes it hard to stay motivated or feel appreciated in this position. Diversity is clearly not a priority, and feeling like an outsider is common. The culture is highly siloed, strongly emphasizing tenure and whether you “fit the mold,” rather than fostering inclusivity or collaboration.
