Business Outlook
Pros
Lunch and dinner provided by the company via coupons and not too bad. Relocated from another city so provided a company owned guest house services for a week for free (foods excluded). Work life balance as no overtime and fixed weekend off (for European team).
Cons
Salary meagre comapred to peers, CTC is confusing as you will only get 20%-30% of variable part of your salary so even you are promised 400K CTC a year, your take home salary will be 26-27K. No career development opportunity other than line promotion. Cross team promotions were seen but quite rare. A big no-no for North Indians as the Chennai corporate office is dominated by tamil speaking employees from top to bottom.
