Huge Gap between field and ops

Willing to work with most employees on personal issues if effort is being shown by the employee.

Cons

Massive preference given to the field team at the expense of Processors and Underwriters. The quick turnaround times drain people.

Fast underwriting, great marketing department if you can get them to respond, good brand recognition in already established markets.

Cons

The main issues I have stem from management. There is an attitude that it is a privilege for loan officers to be working there. I continually heard about their Christian values yet saw nothing but but the opposite in the action of the management team. For instance there was a change in their policy on expense re-reimbursement, and didn't tell their loan officers and branch managers of the change until their expense reports came back with only half the re-reimbursements that were expected. This left many employees with a lot of expense, sometimes several thousand dollars worth, with no recourse. Also the company made the loan officers pay for their marketing materials while paying a lower comp plan than most of their competitors that would provide marketing materials.
