      Pros

      -The employer does care about your individual well being. -You work either 8 days on and 6 days off OR 4 days on and 3 days off. -I worked ON THE OCEAN. -It is a camp situation where you live with you coworkers and 1 or 2 management personnel.

      Cons

      -Hours can be long. At least 10 hours, or more depending on the season. (Spawning/Harvesting, etc) -Basically any of the pros can be cons depending on your perspective.

      Pros

      Lovely people to work with, free food if you get a chance to get some.

      Cons

      No daylight or able to move about in a 12 hour shift, the smell, the filth, the heat, the questionable health and safety breeches. As someone from a h and s background I couldn't believe the risks staff were taking daily, when I questioned it I was told its just what they do to keep production going! Not for me, I have since developed asthma after working there after taking really good care of my lungs for 20 years.
