1. People who are very terrible at their jobs get promoted because they play the politics game, and those under them suffer 2. A lot of unsatisfied people 3. Leaders who do not know what they are doing and waste money on external resources

Mozilla simply isn't relevant anymore and I'm not sure anyone cares about them being the champions of an open Internet. Firefox is the only real product and it's dying more each day with remaining share in the low single digits. All of the remaining products are meaningless. It's impossibly slow and difficult to get anything done. Building the smallest feature takes forever. There's ZERO sense of urgency at all since many of the employees have been here a long time and happy with the status quo. 100% dependent on revenue from Google. Absolutely zero product vision or strategy and a constant churn of leadership, especially on the Product side. Plus some seriously micro-managing leaders and others that have risen up the ranks due to tenure rather than merit. A sinking ship. Performance management and career conversations don't exist.
