Great colleagues, efficient operation, family atmosphere, management is honest and sincere. Great customer base. Great benefits for a small franchise (health, IRA contribution, HSA, paid holidays and vacation). Opportunity to make more money with commissions on certain sales. Company vehicle. Everyday something new.

Cons

Occasional long days when there are several small jobs in one day.

Pros

Good pay, flexible schedules, company van, gas card, uniforms I've been with Mr Handyman for well over a year now. My experience has been extremely positive. Everyday is different and my boss is a pleasure working with. I am left alone to manage my daily work load and trusted to complete the jobs as needed.

Cons

With any job in this industry, some jobs can run longer which requires unexpected added hours to my day. This can be challenging with home time but as mentioned, is expected. It's not a Mr Handyman issue, it's an issue within the industry.

Mr. Handyman of Ft. Washington and Clinton is a great company to work for. working for a small private business allows you to be a valued employee who is acknowledged, and appreciated. They ask and listen to me and value my opinion. They are flexible and work with me with my occasional family emergencies. I really enjoy working there and appreciate being treated with kindness and respect.

Cons

as with all small business,, and franchises ...benefits are limited.
