Great doctors, good benefits, love most of the staff that I work with, I have the equipment that I need to do my job

Cons

Short staffed ALL THE TIME! If someone quits, it has to be justified to refill the position.. Then you have post the job, wait a week to even offer a job, that's if you can find a good applicant, then they have to start on a pay period... On and on so at the minimum... It could be 4-6 weeks to replace someone. Remember, we still have to justify filling the position. Multicare believes in profits and not getting sued over good patient care. We are supposed to see more patients with less staff and better customer service.

To achieve our mission, we must remain financially viable. However, when our income exceeds our expenses, we re-invest the “profits” (called “margin” in our non-profit setting) to provide better facilities and increased access to care. Expansion of our charity care program and the upcoming opening of our Mary Bridge Adolescent Psychiatric Unit are just a few examples of how we are achieving our mission of “Partnering for healing and a healthy future.”
