      Pros

      Great pay and a very friendly HR staff. My department was great before multi-care stepped in and took over but the people I get to work with on a daily basis at Deaconess Hospital really make the work environment amazing!

      Cons

      I think the medical benefits could be a little better and a little less expensive. They should include a couple of free massages every month as well as some naturopathic options

      Pros

      Large organization with a good vision to expand and become a relevant healthcare system in the Pacific Northwest. Fast moving company.

      Cons

      Was a more "mom and pop" mentality that is going through a transition of become a more corporate entity. Must resistance to change, morale is low.

      Pros

      Employees are great to work with, and why I stayed as long as I did. There are many good people working for this company.

      Cons

      Management treats people like they are disposable parts. They keep spending millions on ideas and systems that don't work, instead of investing in the people caring for their patients.

      While we agree that that many great people work here, we don’t agree that MultiCare has failed to invest in our employees. We will invest roughly $1.5 million this year in our tuition reimbursement program that helps employees pursue education to qualify for higher-paying jobs. We also invest millions each year in employee education.
