Reasonable salary and Good pension

Cons

Bad culture of bullying and manipulation by middle management. HR even has a massive staff turnover. They will promise the earth and deliver nothing, constantly changing the goalposts so you have very little progression if your face doesn’t fit or one of the regional managers takes a dislike to you. Internal Empire building in the North West! And don’t think that confidential information is kept that way!

Fair pay, good benefits, generally good culture. Never worried about a lay off or getting fired.

Cons

There can definitely be some downsides to that lack of firing. There’s definitely some people that are not great at their job, which can get frustrating.
