Pros

They have good benefits such as: 401k with a company match, money for school and health coverage. The work is fun and challenging at times.

Cons

Deadline-driven, low wages, not a lot of opportunity for immediate promotions, more long-term place of employment.

Pros

Ambitious growth plan High investment in the business Expanding, lots of new people joining each year Friendly people and good atmostphere

Cons

Have increased the product portfolio they sell, but not invested enough in training leaving some products unsupported and customers unhappy. Many people in the company have worked there for a long time (10 years +) and are resistant to change. Lots of people say "that's just the way it is" when something goes wrong. Company has a lot of hindsight but not much forward thinking.

New to the company - you're invisible!

Pros

The company pays pretty well across the board. There are a lot of great benefits including a stellar insurance plan. The company has been profitable year after year, despite economic downturns that effected other companies - seeing 100% growth over the last 7 years.

Cons

The company is slow to embrace change. There are not a whole lot of forward thinkers in the company and those that are forward thinkers are quelled in their attempt to bring about change and are even ostracized for speaking up. Multivac is a hard company to come into as a newcomer and even more so as a woman because there is a bit of a good ole boy system going on at all levels in the company where "new" and "change" is looked upon as if it were a bad thing.
