Therefore, your initial salary negotiation is the most critical factor in determining your long-term earnings, as even top-level individual performance does not result in meaningful financial reward.

Unfortunately, culture of backstabbing exists and it starts at the upper levels of management. Careers do not exist. Wages are stagnant. IT infrastructure is old.
