Pros

The benefits at MMCO are decidedly good including paid holidays, the standard two weeks of vacation per year after the 1st year, and a yearly bonus dependent on company profits. For most office positions you are offered a casual and relaxed environment, if not even remotely clean, air-tight, or climate-controlled. While a large number of Mutual's yard personnel, call center staff, and office staff are aggressively unhappy with their jobs due to the extremely poor management - most of them are also lively, interesting, and generally friendly people who are easy to get along with. The company has been around for over 100years and provided it is managed well should continue to see steady growth, providing continual career opportunities.

Cons

Communication between the different departments and levels of management is totally lacking. Edicts are handed down by portions of the company that directly affect the duties of others and even their ability to do their jobs without ever once discussing it with them or alerting them to the change. Management is completely removed from a basic understanding of the actual jobs performed by their staff, and this extends up to the highest level of management; the COO calls mandatory cheer meetings to improve morale during the busiest time of day when a vast portion of the mere peasants working there also have madatory deadlines to meet. I probably don't need to relay how ineffectual that is for improving morale do I? There are a number of people in management positions who have no business supervising other people, most notably the Dispatch Manager. The person currently in this position (as of 7/22/2016) is a verbally abusive, irrational, misogynistic, and unskilled tyrant. He routinely shouts at and belittles his employees in front of their coworkers, refuses to listen to reason, completes payroll inaccurately and will gleefully sabotage anyone who disagrees with him.

Pros

Excellent benefit package. Great co-workers. Job isn't difficult but it does demand attention to detail and accountability.

Cons

Management has placed customer needs over employees needs. Not providing adequate sales training, demanding too much overtime, and ignoring employee complaints or concerns has cost this company many outstanding employees.

Pros

They are a great bunch of people, very family orientated.

Cons

There's no room for advancement and upward growth. The company executives consist of old men and are holding back the company from new blood and a more modern approach on the company.
