Pros
Great staff for the most part. Everyone is really helpful and you do get a good sense of team work, especially on the night shift. The Behavioral Health Unit is one of the best around and I really do love my core unit. I prefer the 12 hour shifts and I do get long stretches of days off to relaxe after having worked a stretch.
Cons
Unit management could always be better at communicating important changes going on. Pay is quite low when compared to other health care facilities around. The health care benefits I receive as a full time PCT is appalling and definitely needs to be better for the work we do since the unit I work primarily on involves many violent and aggressive patients.
