Pros

The work environment is nice with casual dress and flexible hours. It is a nice place if you want to just chill and collect a paycheck.

Cons

Management and co-workers have low competency and drive. When issues occur management is more concerned about pointing the finger and covering their asses than fixing the issue. Employees have no visibility of company strategy, and have to rely on reading tech blogs to discover company news.

Pros

Flexible work hours, relaxed dress code, OK compensation, challenging in terms of coding, good reference for your resume, game room.

Cons

Low chance of promotion if you are a new employee as all the good seats are taken by the seniors, News Corp, new ones are the first ones to be laid off.

Pros

MySpace offers a challenging, fast-paced work environment with opportunities for hard-working individuals to advance their career in the tech industry. MySpace employs some of the best tech talent in the industry and, therefore, provides some of the best opportunities to learn and to play with new toys & gadgets. As an engineer, the best reason to work at MySpace is that it's a profit center! In other words, we make money for Fox Interactive.

Cons

You are expected to be able to work on your own and add value. You are expected to know your stuff and make good decisions. You have to be a team player. The work environment in engineering is fast paced and changes quickly so one must be able to adapt to changing demands.
