Pros

I highly recommend Myriad. - The founders are brilliant people, started his business in an apartment selling Sock Puppets on Ebay. And now moved into technology trends with the biggest IT suppliers to position the company into one of the fastest growing VARs in New York City. - The company is focused on innovation, growth and building a customer brand. - Many opportunities for promotions / salary increases, learning from the best in the industry, and training to improve your own personal skills. - Just remember what drives you.. My blueprint; always be passionate about yourself and others, strive to make a difference in the customer overall experience, willing to accept new challenges from start-to-finish, and in the end know what makes you happy.

Cons

- Any fast-paced growth company, work-life balance could be tough.

Pros

— Sales Leadership: smart and talented sales management that has figured out how to recruit and acquire new customers; you can rely on their expertise to take you from the twenty-yard-line to the end zone; management practices a team-based approach to selling and will offer the help necessary to close deals — Career Development: great place to break into IT and sales in general; at Myriad you will build a strong network in the computer hardware industry as you will interact with 60+ leading manufacturers, and dozens of manufacturer reps, all of whom are valuable contacts for your career — Knowledge/Learning: great place to learn the broader strokes of IT and gain knowledge of the technology industry that is in demand in the job market; Myriad offers weekly vendor trainings for sales reps and there are no shortage of opportunities to learn here — Social/Culture: fun place to work, and many Myriad employees have been there several years—they have a good thing going; relatively generous vacation time and among the most generous commission plans of any reseller; very strong event planning team organizes fun company socials and great customer-facing events

Cons

— IT reseller space is crowded and there is a lot of competition with big VARs for deals; do not expect success to come overnight — Large product catalogue and partner set adds a learning curve; focus on learning the core product sets well
